Youth Ministry St. Dominic Savio Church
I guess you are excited about your quinceañera's celebration. We know how important this event is for you, and that is why we have created a special and beautiful retreat in which you, your parents and your friends will be able to understand better the real meaning of this celebration. There are three retreats during the year: must choose one that is closest to the date of your celebration:
ü From May to September First Friday and Saturday of May ü From September to January Second Friday and Saturday of September ü From January to May Second Friday and Saturday of January
About the retreat:
Friday: Parents and “quinceañeras” must attend to a beautiful movie where actors try to show what is the real meaning of the celebration. The movie is 2:30 hours long. The show will start at 7:00 PM.
Saturday: here you have the schedule and topics
Note: -- The family has to bring their own food. -- Parent’s presentations will be in Spanish. -- Chambelanes must be here the first session then they are welcome to stay if they want to.
Some additional things that the quinceañera must complete before the mass;
ü The Quinceañera must attend at lest 4 meeting in the youth ministry here you have the schedule of our meetings:
ü The Quinceañera must write a letter to the Parish stating why they want to have their celebration here. ü The retreat has a cost of 30 dollars for family this included speakers and a “surprise”
